To provide a safe and sound centre for educational, health and social services in the Namalimwe and Mantope wards in Blantyre, Malawi.
Our Mission
To inspire and empower the large number of high-functioning grandmothers in Blantyre, Malawi to embrace their roles as leaders in providing educational, cultural and life and health counseling to the large number of at-risk school girls.
“The mother who nurtures”
I chose to name the center Chem'balira Hall, in honor of my mother. That is her grandmother's name and she was given to pass on the name when she passed away.
It means 'the mother who nurtures'.
